About Us

The Punderson Park Conference is a biannual get together of adult A.A. and Al-Anon members in a beautiful Geauga County, Ohio. It is has been held each spring and fall since 1967.

The conference includes speaker meetings on Friday and Saturday evening held at Notre Dame Education Center at 13000 Auburn Road, Munson, Ohio 44024. We are grateful to the Sisters of Note Dame of Chardon, Ohio for making their facility available for our meetings. Notre Dame is a smoke-free campus and this policy is strictly enforced.

The conference also includes three panel discussion meetings and an Afternoon Speaker on Saturday at the Punderson State Park at 11775 Kinsman Road, Newbury, Ohio 44065. The Sports Chalet is the first drive on the left after entering Punderson State Park and there is ample parking for all. The discussions
include a closed men’s panel at 9:00 a.m., Al-anon meeting at 10:15 a.m., closed women’s panel discussion at 11:30 a.m., and the afternoon speaker at 2:30 p.m. The timelines are followed closely to allow the meetings to stay on schedule. Coffee, soft drinks, water and food are provided free at each meeting.

Following the Saturday speaker meeting, a dance is held at the Punderson State Park Sports Chalet.
Lively music is presented by a dj who accepts requests. Coffee and snacks are provided free; soft drinks and water will be available.
